What better place to grow beautiful things than in a garden?

By Linda Foxlow I had not known what to expect when we went to the home of the impressionist painter Claude Monet in Giverny, France in March 2023. I had, of course, seen pictures, and Monet’s beautiful paintings. But the gardens themselves defy description. I’m using this glimpse of a small part of the gardens and the window through which the artist viewed his incredible setting to announce a new endeavor. We travel extensively each year, and there are abundant opportunities to see some of the world’s most beautiful places. Naturally, I try to capture some small part of that as we travel. It was suggested that we ought to share some of those images from time to time, and so that is what we are doing. You can find this images and a few we have posted on Fine Art America . We’ll be adding more later. We hope you like them. We’d love to see your comments below.

The most charming town of Edam in the Netherlands, a highlight of any Scenic Luxury river cruise

Like a storybook  Of course The Netherlands is somewhat defined by canals. This manual drawbridge was monitored by a stalwart woman who opened it so the canoeist could pass under.  Oya our Scenic rep who was such a joy to travel with Quaint, but FYI the real estate prices certainly are not!!!

Rabat Morocco, we visit the hospital where Linda was born!!

We were not even certain if the building was still standing. The staff at our hotel, The Diwan, knew that the hospital, once part of Port Lyautey Naval Air Station where her father was stationed, was being razed to make way for a Four Seasons so the concierge drove the four of us there so we could stand near the spot. It was a poignant moment. Do you think we got there just in time?  https://www.facebook.com/groups/3211569802202093/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naval_Air_Station_Port_Lyautey
